Signature Plate & Bowl The history of western style Signature plates of the Fukagawa Porcelain Manufacturing Company first began when an order was made from a trading company in Holland in the 17th Century. Chuji Fukugawa created the beauty of Fukagawa style wares using unique and varied techniques, the trade of which spread throughout Europe in the 19th Century.
One unique feature of Fukagawa’s Japanese tableware is that they come in various shapes and sizes and can be used, just as they are, as “decorative pieces (objets)”. We would be very happy whatever way our customers enjoy using them.
